YRKS Series 10 kV Wound-Rotor High-Voltage Motors SIMO YRKS Series 10 kV Wound-Rotor Air-to-Water Cooled High-Voltage Motors – Overview The YRKS three-phase induction motors (frame sizes 710–1000) in the 10 kV series are wound-rotor three-phase induction motors, manufactured in accordance with technical specification JB/T 7594–1994. The 10 kV motors can be directly connected to a 10 kV power grid, offering advantages such as simplified equipment configuration, reduced capital investment, and lower energy consumption. The YRKS series motors feature an enclosure protection rating of IP44 or IP54 and utilize ICW81A cooling. The stator windings employ Class F insulation materials, securely fixed and bound at the base. During manufacturing, the windings undergo multiple inter-turn impulse voltage tests and ground withstand voltage tests. Furthermore, the windings are treated using an advanced foreign vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) process with solvent-free varnish. As a result, these motors exhibit excellent and reliable insulation performance, high mechanical strength, and strong moisture resistance.
