YVFEJ2 Series Variable-Frequency Speed-Controlled Electromagnetic Brake Three-Phase Induction Motorsare one of the new products developed and launched by our company. Their structural design integrates features of both the YEJ2 and YVF2 series: an electromagnetic brake is mounted on the non-drive-end (NDE) shaft extension of a YVF-series motor. Their performance complies with the technical standards of the YVF2 series. These motors are designed for joint use with electronic variable-frequency drives (VFDs), enabling stepless speed control within a range of 150–2750 rpm with electromagnetic braking. When power to the electromagnetic brake is lost, the motor stops rotating within a short time—regardless of operating speed. No-load braking time varies with frame size, ranging approximately from 0.5 to 0.45 seconds (larger frames → longer time; smaller frames → shorter time). Electromagnetic brake motors are widely applied in mechanical equipment requiring stepless speed control and braking, such as in transportation, metallurgy, textile printing & dyeing, chemical processing, mining, and construction machinery, serving as prime movers.
