YR Series (IP23) Low-Voltage Wound-Rotor AC Motors
156-9170-8999
Product Introduction:
The YR Series (IP23) three-phase wound-rotor induction motors are general-purpose, newly designed, next-generation products. Their power ratings and mounting dimensions comply with IEC standards. The motor enclosure protection rating is IP23; cooling method is IC01; duty type is continuous (S1); and they are suitable for clean environments free of flammable, explosive, or corrosive gases.
The YR Series (IP23) three-phase wound-rotor induction motors deliver high starting torque at relatively low starting current and allow speed adjustment within a certain range. They are widely applicable in the following scenarios: (1) applications requiring higher starting torque than squirrel-cage motors; (2) cases where supply line capacity is insufficient to start squirrel-cage motors; (3) applications involving long or frequent starting cycles; (4) applications requiring limited-speed adjustment; (5) applications requiring “electrical shaft” coupling for synchronous drive. Typical applications include compressors, sugar cane rollers, textile machines, hoists, wire-drawing machines, and conveyor belts.
The YR Series (IP23) three-phase wound-rotor induction motors feature high efficiency and low noise. They conform to Enterprise Standard QXD.511.16 and the Technical Specifications for YR Series (IP23) Three-Phase Wound-Rotor Induction Motors.
The YR Series (IP23) three-phase wound-rotor induction motors employ Class B insulation, with rated voltage 380 V, rated frequency 50 Hz, and delta (△) connection. The terminal box provides six output terminals for frame size H280, and three output terminals for frame sizes H315–H355.
The motor structure and mounting configuration is IMB3 (foot-mounted, end shields without flanges, horizontal orientation), all featuring non-lifting brush construction. Operating altitude shall not exceed 1,000 m; maximum ambient air temperature varies seasonally but does not exceed 40 °C; minimum ambient air temperature is –15 °C; maximum average relative humidity in the wettest month is 90%, provided the average minimum temperature in that month does not exceed 25 °C.
A starting rheostat must be connected in series with the rotor circuit during motor starting. Direct short-circuiting of the rotor winding during starting is strictly prohibited.
Applicable Applications:
Compressors, sugar cane rollers, textile machines, hoists, wire-drawing machines, conveyor belts, etc.
Operating Conditions:
Operating altitude shall not exceed 1,000 m; maximum ambient air temperature varies seasonally but does not exceed 40 °C; minimum ambient air temperature is –15 °C; maximum average relative humidity in the wettest month is 90%, provided the average minimum temperature in that month does not exceed 25 °C.
