After SIMO motor repair, which components require inspection? Few users pay special attention to this issue. Today, our editor will introduce what should be done after motor repair.

(1) Check whether all parts of the motor body are correctly and properly installed, whether the fit between parts is defect-free, and whether fastened connections are secure.

(2) Check whether the exciter commutator and generator motor slip rings’ outer surfaces are clean; whether carbon brushes are intact; and whether brush spring pressure is uniform and free from sticking.

(3) Check whether the cooling system’s cooler and all auxiliary machines are fully installed, whether air ducts are airtight, and whether air inside the cooler has been purged.

(4) Check whether installation of control, signaling, and safety system equipment is complete, and verify through testing that their condition is sound. Also check whether connections between outgoing cables and the distribution board (panel) comply with standards.
