YKK Series 6 kV High-Voltage Motors

The YKK series high-voltage three-phase induction motors are totally enclosed, air-to-air cooled, squirrel-cage rotor induction motors featuring rational structure and advanced manufacturing processes. They offer advantages including high efficiency and energy savings, low noise, minimal vibration, reliable operation, and convenient installation and maintenance.     These high-voltage motors adopt a box-type frame structure fabricated from welded steel plates—lightweight yet highly rigid. A fully enclosed air-to-air cooler is mounted on the motor top, enabling easy disassembly and reassembly for convenient motor installation and servicing. The stator employs a press-fitted core structure; its windings utilize Class F insulation materials, with robust end-winding binding and fixation. During manufacturing, windings undergo repeated inter-turn impulse voltage tests and ground insulation withstand voltage tests. Furthermore, stators are treated using an imported advanced vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) process with solvent-free varnish, ensuring excellent, reliable insulation performance, superior mechanical strength, and strong moisture resistance. Squirrel-cage rotors are manufactured via advanced, reliable die-casting aluminum technology. Two bearing types are available: deep-groove ball bearings and cylindrical roller bearings—selection depends on motor power rating and speed. The standard protection rating is IP54; IP55-rated motors are also available upon order request.     Power ratings, mounting dimensions, and electrical performance of this motor series comply with China’s national standard GB755-2000 << “Rotating Electrical Machines – Ratings and Performance” >>, mechanical industry standard JB/T10315.2, and relevant IEC60034-1 standards. Customized versions conforming to Russian GOST or U.S. NEMA standards are also available. The standard mounting arrangement is horizontal with foot mounting (IMB3); optional arrangements include IMV1 and IMB35. Duty type is continuous duty (S1). Currently, these motors feature low energy consumption and stable operation, earning broad market recognition from customers.
