The above image shows the nameplate of a SIMO Z2 DC motor that has been in operation for over 50 years.

Recently, the SIMO after-sales service team received a special assignment: to perform maintenance and servicing on a Z2 DC motor manufactured in July 1971 by Xi’an Motor Factory (now renamed Xi’an SIMO Motor Co., Ltd.).  

Upon receiving the assignment, technicians rigorously tested all electrical parameters of the motor and inspected its appearance and mechanical performance; based on these assessments, they determined that the motor remains in good condition and is still fit for continued service, and accordingly performed routine maintenance procedures.
